Atmel Christmas Party - Happy Mommy!

Well this year's Atmel Christmas party has come and gone... like last year, the 5 foot 8.5 inch Santa (Jesse) and his little elf, 6 foot 3 inch (Eric), played host for the post-potluck "white elephant" or gift exchange.

As usual, everyone had a blast, but I think the happiest person of all has to be the little mommy herself! After the last round where all the gifts keep getting stolen, she decided to head to the tree for the final gift...

Would it be a winner or a dud? What do you think?

I think the smile says it all, don't you?

Don't worry Aunt Michele and Aunt Laura, even as much as she loves her Chocolate, I'm sure Karen and Aunt Alicia couldn't possibly go through this in one week, right? :)

Poll!

If you get a chance and feel so inclined, try out the poll on the right side of the blog. Baby weight predictions!

Baby's Room Movie!

On the weekend of Dec. 5, we finally got the baby room in livable-shape! We put the crib together, moved in mommy's recliner and hand-made rug, and setup baby Hunter's dresser.

Mommy worked all weekend washing and folding Jr's socks, PJs, and blankets! It was a long weekend of work, but we feel so much better knowing that everything is put together and in order.

We can finally say the house is ready! There are still some nervous jitters, but in all honesty, it's more excitement at this point... next is to wish mommy luck in her last few weeks. But as the doc said "best pack your bags today" (and that was two weeks ago!!!), so who knows! :)

Be sure to check out the pics in our gallery to the right -- there are several that haven't been posted in the blog yet!

Here's a quick movie for your enjoyment! This was shot on our Christmas present to ourselves; a nice new Canon PowerShot digital camera that can also take movies!

Thanks Auntie Michele!

Look what Auntie Michele made for me! :)
