Happy 6 months, Grady!

Grady's growing up! Here are some pictures from this past weekend, at six months old.

Nearly sitting up on his own, putting rings in the bowl and out of the bowl. In the bowl and out of the bowl. In and out...in and out...

Mother, I'm ready for my nap now.

Nifty new exersaucer. So many cool things to grab, chew, poke, and slide!

Almost there...

Got it!

More chewing...

These are for eating, right?

The whole shebang.

A (belated) Father's Day Post

Grady helped Daddy open his cards on Father's Day.

Look what Grady made (and modeled!) for Daddy!
He's a regular Vanna White ;)

People-food.

Well, the day finally came. The Gman is starting to work on big-people food...

All bibbed up and ready for some rice.

One of the first bites...

Rice is nice!!
(and messy!)

Swallow...........

Camo-bib? Check.
Spoon? Check.
Where are my avocados??

Hmmm. Avocado, eh?

Yummy avocados!!

My mommy is really enjoying making my food. She grows my squash and green beans in the back yard, tries to get as much other locally grown produce as she can from the weekly USDA Farmer's Market, and fills in the rest from the grocery store. Check out my loot! I have peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, pears, applesauce, peaches, and carrots. And in fun shapes, too, thanks to Auntie Laura and her gift of dolphin-, penguin-, and star-shaped ice cube trays for my purees.
So far Grady is eating rice cereal, pears, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, avocado, and banana. On the schedule for next week are peaches and possibly apples.
